Tannya Rodriguez is a Latinx filmmaker who was born and raised in Queens, New York. Having a love and passion for visual media, Tannya went on to pursue her BFA in Film Production from the City College of New York and graduated in 2021. As a production assistant at Firelight Films she operates in the various phases of production, including the delivery of films.

Tannya strongly believes in bridging social justice issues with filmmaking in order to bring about change. By exploring subjects like immigration, race, women's rights, and religion, she hopes to highlight a diverse array of voices through her work.
